Dr. Amber Fritz spent her childhood time finding opportunities to rescue animals. She attended Texas Christian University and completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Master of Science in
Conservation Genetics. She found herself studying preservation of native wildlife population and completed her degree in veterinary medicine at Iowa State Veterinary School. She practices medicine alongside her husband, Dr. Brett, both working together to exude the highest level of veterinary medicine at Acorn Hill Animal Hospital.
Preventive and holistic medicine are important to Dr. Fritz; her surgical skills and experience allows her to perform advanced abdominal, dental and orthopedic surgeries. She is a current member of the TVMA, AVMA, and the Veterinary Medical Association of Bexar County.
You will find Dr. Fritz with friends and family at the pool or local parks when not working or volunteering her surgical assistance to The Big Fix in San Antonio.
